Does anyone know how to publish to multiple Facebook pages with LR 3.2? I can get it to publish to my primary FB account but that is my personal one. I also have a page for my business that I want to publish photos to but I can't get LR 3.2 to recognize it since my personal page is the Admin for my business page. I have tried the change account in the LR publishing section but again since my personal page is the admin it goes straight to it.
Thanks for any help.

Thanks Paul! The one from RRS was what I was looking for.

Does anyone know of a after market level the goes between the tripod and the head? I want to be able to level my tripod then level my camera for shooting a pano technique I just read about but I don't want to buy a new tripod with a level built in.
Thanks

Does anyone know of a good tutorial on digital backdrops? Specificaly on creating a bend or distortion to make it look like the backdrop is bending to meet the floor. I've been experimenting with some digital backdrops and would like them to look more realistic before I would ever use them on a cutomers photos.
Thanks!

We always tell our B&G a time earlier than we want since they are always late. Also explain to them up front what it takes to get the photos they want, they'll understand.
Being more assertaive comes with practice in dealing with people, my partner and I had the same problem when we started and as we got more confidence that problem went away. Just don't go the other way nobody likes to be treated like a child.
Have you ever thought about a partner? My partner and I are equal in our business and our styles work well together. Yes it means less money for us individually but we can cover more ground or help each other out. Our clients like the end product. One of us will be moving people around while the other is shooting or we work different angles, different groups etc. I think it works better than an assistant since we both have an equal stake in our business.

Not really what I was looking for. I would hope most wedding photographers ask what type of photos their clients want in the first meeting. Keeping your finger on the shutter really doesn't work when you are shooting formal poses. These aren't professional models and helping them to pose can create a very natural looking photo if your observant. I look at any photos I can to get new ideas and to make the product I deliver better.
I was just looking for ideas in how others keep up with the trends in posing. It's always good to get another perspective.

I am subscribing to a brides magazine to help keep my ideas and photos fresh. I enjoy seeing how others are doing things and like new ideas. Does anyone have suggestions on how they keep there photos fresh and different for their customers?

I shoot Adobe '98 in my camera simply for work flow. Everything flows from camera to Lightroom 1.4 to CS3. Is there any advantage to switching to Adobe Pro in camera? About 80% of my post production work for clients is done in LR (which doesn't use Adobe Pro) and never goes to CS3, not sure if that makes a difference.
Thanks

Thanks for all the input. I always turn off the music when I go to a web site so I think I'll stay with what I like not what I think someone else will like. A lot of work for something most don't like including me.

-

How does anyone handle the copyright issues of using music in the background on your website? I know we all protect our copyrights so I would hate to tromp on someone else's copyright by using music on my website.
Thanks for any input!

I'm using it on a D300.
I'm leaning towards the SB-800 do it's ability to to cycle faster than the SB-600.
One of my primary reasons for getting a SU-800 is not having that preflash go off in front of your subject. Most of my portrait subjects it doesn't bother but I've found that some have a very fast blink reflex, my kids in particlular, and they always have their eyes closed in the photo. Not so good to have every photo with their eyes closed when they are paying you.

-

I'm looking at buying an SU-800 to use as my commander for my creative light system.
I currently have an SB-600 and I'm looking to add a couple of more flashes to my system. I'm not sure if I should throw down the money and buy a SB-900 or get more flashes for the money with buying SB-800's or 600's
So I guess my question is there any advantage to the higher end flashes when using the su-800 as your commander?
Also I've been happy with my SB-600 except I think it has a tendency over filled a scene when used in commander mode off camera. I'm hoping the SU-800 will solve this.

Thanks.
Any suggestions for the add ons? I've looked at EZmask but it's $$$$

I have started to use digital backdrops for portraits and I'm looking for some ideas/advise. I've considered buying a croma screen backdrop for the simple reason of editing. That green color would be easy to do a selective color selection in CS3 to extract only that.
Is there any advantage to using a true croma screen vs. just a green color? My thought is that I want the background to be a color like that bright green that you know your subject isn't going to wear so it makes the color selection much easier.
Thanks

Help!
I have tried everything I can think of to load a Velvia custom picture control on my D300 and every time I get a
message that says no custom picture controls on card. I have put the .ncp files in a Nikon folder and have tried
them on their own in the root menu. I've tried load them on the card from my computer then putting the card in my
camera, I've tried plugging my camera straight into the computer.
I'm not sure what else to try
This is the sight I got the files from.

I know this is probaly a simple question but I can't get it figured out. I am working on our bussiness logo and it is in
black and dark gray's. The problem is our web site background is black. Is there a simple way in CS3 to make the
colors of the logo a negative?
Thanks

I use a Epson R800 for small jobs for customers and for personal printing. The problem is I don't want to use ink for
my business for my personal use. I like to keep the money separate. I've thought about 2 sets of cartidges but I'm
worried about one set drying out. So I have a couple of questions.
1. How long can a catridge sit out of the printer before it won't work?
2. Does anyone know a quick and easy way to figure approx how many photos per catridge to expect? (to figure an
accurate price/print)
3. What is a good source bulk bottles of ink?
I know Outdoor Photogrpher magazine did an article a couple of years ago on this subject but I've been unable to find
it.
Thanks

Can I crop a picture in a circle in CS3 or once I have croped and resized to the 2.5x2.5 square can I draw a circle for
the photo to cut by hand? My wife who is a teacher has asked me produce circular pictures for use in a 1st grade
project. Thanks!

I'm thinking about buying a Macbook Pro so I can edit while traveling. Are there any advantages of using Aperture 2
vs Lightroom + CS3 other than Aperture cost a ton less?

Can the photos be batch changed in Adobe Bridge? His hands were that red!

A photo book that our wedding business produced is now being used to show
potential clients about a wedding facilities. The problem is this book was
produced for the brides mother of one of our first weddings who also happens to
run the wedding facility. We had also done this particular wedding as a favor and
not charged our full amount. Now we find out that our book is being used for
advertisement and it hasn't produced any bussiness for us. We found out it was
being used through a potential client that is getting married at this facility and was
refered to us by a flowerist not the facility.
How should we handle this? We thought about asking to put one of our labels
with copyright notice and our e-mail in the back of the book, which we do to all our
products now but didn't then, and giving her bussiness cards to give to clients.

Thanks for the advise. It looks like the D300 is the way to go and I'll carry a hammer if I find myself needing to drive nails during a shoot.
-
I'm looking at upgrading. D300 or a used D2x? Both are about the same price. It
will be used for all types of photography from weddings to outdoor.
