The colors.  The cropping.  The bokeh.  The focus.  Oh wow.  Everything about this photo is just fabulous to me.  I rarely rate or comment on photos but I just had to on this one.  I wish I had snapped it.  Very well done!

Thank you so very much for sharing this.  I could not keep myself from staring at them.  At their eyes.  At their innocence.  Though the colors are beautiful this photo, to me at least, is all about the children.  They are such gifts.  I prayed for them.  May the Lord bless them and keep them and cause His face to shine upon them all of their days.

 

I've never commented on too many photos here at photo.net but when I saw this one I just had to.  I love everything about this photograph.  It's one I would hang on the wall.  As others have said...I agree....the color contrast.....the tones....lighting....motion.....everything is just fabulous.  One thing that makes an image great to me on a personal level is whether or not I get tired of looking at it over time.  This is one I think I would always enjoy seeing no matter how many times I looked at it.  Very nice capture and thank you for sharing it!

Though I don't do much critiquing on photo.net I have looked at many photographs and I just had to comment on this one. It is right up there in my all time favorites. I'll say top 3 and I'm sure I've looked at thousands. The more I look at it the more I appreciate it.

 

I also had my son look at it who cherishes animals ( and owns many ) but I did not allow him to see your explanation of the photo. This is exactly what he said, "Wow, is he trying to eat that duck? What kind of bird is that?"

 

I then allowed him to read your explanation and he said....."shew, thank goodness."

 

So for my son and those like him we thank you for sharing your explanation, otherwise, he may have lost a little sleep wondering what happened to that poor duck.

 

Whichever philosophical side of the fence you're on....surely most will agree that the photograph is absolutely stunning.

I absolutely love this photo. It is one of my personal favorites of all that I've ever looked at on photo.net. But when I continue to look at it...my mind is telling me to crop out the sky more for some reason...or to pull the photo down a bit and capture more of the foreground. But whatever the case....I still love it and would like to obtain one to hang on my wall in my office. If you will contact me about it through photo.net I would be grateful. I absolutely love the colors and the panorama.
