Hi Mike,
I have done several maternity sessions. I use a black or white nylon wrap that I bought from Joann's Fabrics. It is about three yards for the top and 3 for the bottom and I shoot on a black background. I usually start at 3-4 months and each month after that and then once they have the baby I shoot one more session with the baby and then do a collage that includes one pose from each session ending with one with the Mommy holding the baby. If they only come in for one session, I always recommend 7 months since they don't look too big and still have a nice sized tummy. I also offer a maternity book that I create 7x7 with blurb.com and charge between $125. and $175. for it. It is custom designed and sometimes includes photos of the baby from a session at about 2 weeks of age.

I have been trying all morning to scan some old 35mm slides on my epson 4490
photo scanner. I followed all the instruction and can't seem to get it to work.
When I do it in fully automatic mode it says it can not find the document. When
I do it in home mode with film, color negative film it comes up a long box with
mixed colors, when i do reflective file the entire slide holder with the four
slides appear even in thumbnail. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for any help you can give me. I have over 2000 slides to do for a
friends birthday and running out of time!

I have a session with six physicians for a corporate portrait that will be used
in an upcoming advertising campaign. Does anyone have any poses that they care
share for this type of session. I have a couple of black stools that I can have
two sit in and arrange the other four somehow but I am kind of stumped on how I
am going to arrange them. Any help would be great.

Can anyone tell me where I can purchase templates for creating wedding albums.
I am not looking for the standard album templates but some with some creative
touches like some brush effects and colorful pages. I haven't been able to find
many online but I am sure they are out there somewhere.
Thanks,

Actually, I link my shows through the photodex website for full screen viewing but I also offer them on my website as a windows media file for viewing by all which is easy enough to do.

Thanks everyone, the venue is on flat land in Florida at quail creek. It is a fishing, hunting and quail shooting range. There is very little with regards to height. I am taking a ladder for sure. There is a dock with water so I thought I may try something with that. I appreciate all the images and suggestions.

Thanks Nadine. I was hoping for something a little more creative than a line up but that may be what I am limited too.

I am scheduled to shoot a wedding in a couple of weeks. The wedding party will
consist of 19 people, bride and groom, seven bridesmaids and groomsmen, two
ring bearers and one flower girl. I know there are some really creative
photographers out there that have experienced large parities so I was hoping
that you would be willing to post some pose samples that you have used
successfully in the past. Thanking you in advance for sharing.

Recently I shot a wedding and had problems with my flash over heating my
batteries. Can I get some recommendations for what type of batteries everyone
is using and if anyone is using rechargable batteries. I shoot with a nikon
sb800 creative lighting system.

Sounds like my horror story on 7-7-07...the big day for how many brides? I was at the bride's sisters house shooting her and her party dressing, then set up to do some formals of the bridesmaids and the bride with her parents. The flower girl had a very sheer long train on her dress and while I was shooting the bride with parents somehow she ended up right behind me on a ceramic tile floor. I stepped back to take a shot and it felt like I stepped in a glass of water, I went down, the camera flew across the room, hit the floor. Thought I broke my leg because I heard a loud pop but when I got up I knew it was my knee. It felt like it was going to slide off my leg, so the brides father went and bought me a knee brace which I used so that I could shoot the wedding, in slow motion needless to say, which dosen't work well at weddings. Camera survived but after seeing the doctor, found out I tore the ligaments in my knee pretty badly and it will take several months to heal and possibly surgery! Ouch. Learned one BIG lesson that day. No one can stand behind this photographer while shooting!

I purchased light room and was told from another photographer that you can
paste the same settings to all of the images at one time if they were all shot
in the same setting. I have tried, and tried but end up pasting one at a time
for my lack of knowledge of the program. Can anyone share with me the process
for pasting all of them at one time. I really, really need to get 1,500 pics
done asap...and it would be so helpful if someone could share with me the
process.
Thanks in advance.

Recently when shooting a wedding I experienced a large number of children who
were constantly in front of or around the bride and groom. The DJ even
requested that they move with no success. Lots of alcohol, little help from the
parents. Is it my responsiblity to request they move or the bride and grooms,
or do I approach the parents? It wasn't pretty!
