She is beautiful, and this photo captures that.  I am surprised by the focal length, and the aperture.  This is a venerable lens which is still making excellent captures.  I do the same thing with my 105mm F4 on my digital bodies, and it takes some of my best pics, despite having some of the modern, automatic glass.

Bogdan, I happen to like this image.  The contrast is stark, and serves to outline emphasize the dominant aspect of image, the shapely legs of three young women, walking across the square, with a purpose.  What purpose?  Who are they?  Nice capture.

This composition is so reminiscent of Ansel Adams' 1942 classic photo of the Snake River and the Tetons, taken in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming.  Any fan of landscape will fell a tug looking at your image.  I like it very much.

  1. Konstantin,

These days, a modern landscape photograph almost always requires some object of interest to be near the camera. In the mountains, that foreground object might be a blooming mountain flower.

Your modern urban landscape is a very famous cityscape. And you chose an apropos modern, urban forground object, the flower of urbane Russian womanhood in mesh stockings and heels. That is pretty far from the babushka some foreigners would think of.

I think you made a great photo which is bold, eyecatching, and exciting. I wish I had thought of it.

    Dave
