Wow.  Nice Egret shot!

This egret went in and pulled up an oak leaf and a tiny fish. Somehow it

releases the oak leaf and keeps the fish snack. Please view larger.

I love the colors!  This one was the only one of the series I could view larger.   I wish the focus on the bird were just a little sharper.  The branch seems so much clearer than the face, for example.  It's not a big deal, by any means, just either a focal point difference of depth of field choice.  What a treat for for you to get to see birds like this!  Thanks for posting this wonderful series!

Thanks for posting this lovely view of an unfamiliar bird.  I love the light, color and detail.  

This is an exquisite rendering of this iconic skyline.  I like the mix of autumn and early winter here.  It may be an optical illusion, but I'd probably level out the mid-horizon, though.  I think for the mood, I actually like the other shot taken from further away better.  I don't take pictures this nice, though.  

I love the color and the detail in the plant itself.  I have mixed feelings about the background, though.  I'd kind of like the light to dark transition be higher up and away from the plant.  

What a nice shot!  Autumn shots with snow make such a delightful mix.  

Thanks for looking. This was the first time for me ever getting to see the

females and their beautiful plumage, too. The ice had them kind of

bunched up where I could get closer than ever.
