I just purchased an 8-core MacPro Tower to render pics with CS3. I want some

recommendations for a flat screen display in the $500 price range. Would I

need to buy a calibration unit if I spend $500 for the monitor? Thanks!

Thank you all so much! I will try getting rid of the umbrellas and use gels. I will also pick up a poloarizing filter today. OMG, I cannot wait to try these techniques. I may even be brave enough to post one of the shots.

Master the Light -- Master the Image!

I was drafted to shoot 30+ original, framed, oil paintings. The artist does

not want the collection out of doors. I am shooting the paintings in "studio"

with three umbrellas and a Nikon D1h. The glare is more than I anticipated.

My new job requires I take several photos each week. Many times, people ask me

to send them some of the photos in an e mail. I no longer have time--

thankfully--to send everyone a photo.

Would someone direct me to a site which will teach me how I can post short

term, password protected, photo files on one of my Websites?

I would then send the client the link and password to their specific folder.

The client could then order whatever print they choose through the print

service offered by photo.net.

I would remove their folder after, say, 30 days. Thanks!
