Would Ronsonol work for cleaning the shutter gears of an old Kodak Signet 35? Also, what would you recommend for a lubricant after using the solvent. I was concerned about the oil from a lubricant rotting the shutter (if it is made of hard rubber or plastic).

I recently found an Argus A at an antique mall near Richmond, Indiana. Here is a photo I shot with it last weekend of an old store near the westside of downtown Indianapolis. They are neat old cameras!
