I sometimes do the odd nude, but usually stick to other stuff. I have been a pro
photog for 7 years now doing photojournalism and more recently moved into the
commercial side of things. One thing that I have picked up viewing nude images
is the difference in shooting style and character to an image if shot by a male
vs. a female. I think women percieve their bodies far different to what we as
males sometimes do. Some of the stuff I have seen on PN is downright ugly and
borders on pornography and have no place here. Others are well lit and executed
shots. What do the female members of PN think about the female nude? How would
you like to have u'r o bodies portrayed?

Hi
I recently bought a 18-135 as a carry around lens to supplement the 50, 85 and
70-200 nikons I already have. Yesterday all the lenses just stopped auto
focussing on my S3 pro. You can still take pictures when the lenses are
switched to manual but on single shot auto focus nothing happens, both shutter
buttons are completely dead, the shutter wont even release on single shot, but
it does release if the S3 is on continious focus and manual focus. I have
tested other lenses and they all do the same. So a problem with the cam. Anyone
have the same exp or solutions?
Thanks

Hi
I just recently bought a Fuji S3 Pro. I have always liked the colour and sensor
etc. Problem is I have shot with Canon my whole life and have no clue about the
nikon optics. The S3 will only be used for portrait work in studio and out. Was
thinking about 85mm 1.4, 70-200 2.8 or even 200 2.0. Any suggestions would be
welcome. Looking for something with good contrast, sharp etc, weight not a
problem, aperture 2.8 and larger and it has to be able to last a good couple of
years and take a few knocks along the way. Oh, and be able to AF on the S3.
Thanx

Hi
Will a Sigma 24-70 2.8 Nikon Mount work on an S3 Pro? Any issues related to the
mating?

Hi
I have a 1dsmkII and as back-up a 30d. From me another thumbs down for the kit lens. The 17-85 is not a bad choice but if u want to go full frame later on it's not going to help alot. The 17-40 f4 is a great piece of glass, especially at the price and later on together with the 70-200 f4 IS or non IS u will cover a pretty decent focal range. Agree with other comments about the 50 1.8, have one myself and love it, and for +-$80 it's a steal. The 20mm mentioned is also a good choice but will leave u a bit short for other things. I played around with the 10-22 for about a week and although not L quality glass its a pretty decent lens but still relatively expensive. My choice would be the 17-40 for now, together with a 50 1.8. And for later the 70-200 f4 or f2.8's and maybe 85 1.8/1.2.
