Don't listen to the last guy, his pictures are so formulaic. I would say that yes, this could be a little more focussed, but the subject is a refreshing change. The type of carpet is completely irrelevant.

Why let him get dressed? He is much too beautiful for clothes :).

I like it... if only because it is a man instead of a woman. I am so tired of seeing naked women (in sometimes degrading poses), and it's nice to see a man having some fun too.

Very nostalgic. I like it. Having no focal point isn't always a downside... if done right(and in my opinion, it was) being ambiguous can give the viewer more to think about. Definately this is framable.

Good clarity. It can be hard to get a shot like that right (at least with my camera, ha). I like he contrast between the round drops and the sharp thorns, kind of a new take on the contrast between dark and light. Well done.

I love hockey (you know, up here in Canada...). I like this shot because it emotes a sense of self within a team sport. The player looks pensive, yet the blur of the background makes it look like the game is still going on (even though there are no other players in the shot). Way to get the softer side of sport... great shot.
