I'm new to this forum, so this may have been addressed already. I see a need to
separate out the aquarium shots (dry photographer, captive subjects) from the
true underwater (submerged photographer) photos. The latter being much more
challenging to get a decent shot...not that this is a contest, but I am tiring
of seeing the Monterrey Bay Aquarium jellyfish shots consistently outscoring the
images that were more difficult and more amazing. Any thoughts on this?

Thank you all, I do see your point(s). It is exactly analogous to Jim's zoo vs. wild animal issue. I suppose the trick is to learn from the critiques and not be offended by the ratings. Agreed that its best not to open Pandora's box here.
