I don't how it is in where you live, but here in Moscow, I went to photo service, non-Canon one, and they replaced the slot. I've spent US$75 or so on this. Do not try to unbent the pin. You might make things worse

Is it possible that pins in CF compartment in the camera got jammed? Remove the card and have a look there with a flash light. I can not explain the chain of events you describe any other way

I have never used this lens. All I know about it is here - http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Sigma-85mm-f-1.4-EX-DG-HSM-Lens-Review.aspx

The 100/2.0 is of the same class as 85/1.8. Both are wonderful lenses for the money. 135/2L is quite a different story. It's just superb

I have checked what is available here, Moscow, Russia. Yes, it's the two stage route. Slightly different from what Bob said. There is an adapter from Kiev 88 (bayonet В (sounds V)) to Kiev 60 (bayonet Б (sounds B)) , and from Kiev 60 to EOS.

Ruslan, just several points concerning AF on Canon EOS.

When taking pictures of still objects, say, portraits or macro, AI Servo can be used. And you're right, in this case outer focusing points are quite useful. Obtaining focus and recomposing can lead to incorrect focus when using fast lenses wide open.

Please keep in mind, that outer focus points are less sensitive in the most cameras. What's more, phase-detection AF can make these points less sensitive. Please refer tohow AF works on 7D/5D Mark III/1DX notes with different lenses.
AE locking comes handy in several situations, Puppy Face described some. I use it when shooting panoramas.

Once started using Back-Button-Focusing, you'll never forget about it, trust me, it becomes natural. But don't forget to remove AF locking from the shutter button.
I'm talking from my own experience, so it makes sense, at least for me.

Sorry guys, I could not resist.
It won't happen again, promise

AF-ON намного удобней, чем использование одной кнопки для фиксации фокуса и экспозиции. Особенно в режиме AI Servo. Кнопка * - это фиксация экспозиции.

Historically, it reminds me about differences between 20D and 30D

My guess, it could be the 1Dx itself. It's still under development, and 4K capability is APS-H sized field of sensor.

No, by EXIF specifications ISO field occupies two bytes and 65535 is the largest number which can be stored in two bytes.

Re: Video capabilities, all I-frames are now supported as specifications show, quite a different league.

It was a misty morning a day before yesterday, I was having breakfast but after looking into the window, I just squeezed what left of the food into me in one gulp and jumped out of the house into the forest, just across the road.
