When looking back time shows us how short our stay is here and how should stop and enjoy the moments we have, they have grown a lot since the first images posted, beautiful children.

there may be some that give it a low mark, don't pay attention to them they have never attempted to capture small insects in flight, great capture

  1. We do not tend to get too many pretty sunrises here in Houston and the location from where I took the images basically requires that it done early Sunday mornings, I often leave the house with nice clouds and by the time the sun rises they are gone or we have what we have here.  What I don't think you will find are any other images like this, so that is different, but I don't expect most of you to know that.

  2. The Metro train takes off from the University of Houston Downtown

Campus toward the Medical Center. Photo taken just before sunrise as

the train was about to depart, wanted to get a sense of movement from

    the train.

My eyes not being what they were I had often wondered why the small

frog was always on top of the larger one, of course with my evil mind

I thought what most evil minds would think. However, when I opened up

this image I noticed that the frog on top is missing a leg.

Thank you for the comment, but there have been others including some that I have done in the past, what I did here that was different is that I used bracketing to create an HDR image as the difference between the bottom of the skywalk and the sky in exposure is so great that I wanted to try to capture something closer to what our eyes can see, of course our eyes can not capture the view itself as the distortion of the 17mm lens creates an image different from we can see.   The difficult part was in the bracketing  as I was angling my neck to look through the view finder, people probably thought I was crazy.

  3. So much of it and so little of it is given to us, at least where we can remember. She is growing up so fast, great image, Jeff. Wide Angles give us a perspective that our eyes can not see and the ability to create unique images. Wish there was more time to spend on the things I love, so is life. Happy New Year.
