  1. Thank you all for your input. It is not believable that an award winning photojournalist would cover a wedding for the fee of $375.00. Heck, I wouldn't even consider it, knowing how much work and responsibility you take on. Plus, you are using your own equipement to boot. Bella could not even rent the equipement for that price they pay you to shoot the wedding.

I would hate to be the person working in their complaint department.

  2. I was going through the menu in my camera...I don't know what I did. Now I

can not use the Delete function. It just says "This option is not available

with currant settings" I don't recall changing any setting. It is on

Automatic. There are no images on the SD card. I don't see anything in the

manual other than setting it on protection for one photo at a time.

    Thanks for your help.

  3. The most important thing is to try to stay calm so you can be creative. Enjoy this shoot. Just think, you are documenting a very important event for your friend. What a gift !! Future generations will see these photos some day.

You might not need flash..if you are unsure, try to shoot with and without during the outside ceremony. Try to find good light to shoot the posed shots so you don't need flash.

    I usually shoot the following

B&G with both sets of Parents,

B&G with each set of Parents, then add siblings,

    Grandparents (optional)

    B with bridesmaids,

    G with groomsmen,

B&G with maid of honor and best man,

    Entire wedding party,

B&G with maid of honor and best man,

B&G alone and together..Posed and candid,

    ring shot.

Search the internet and look at other wedding photographers websites for ideas

I saw your website..you know light and composition. You will do fine if you can just relax.
