I shot this in Acadia National Park in Maine. I was astounded at the size of the

polywogs. Notice that the back legs have already come in. Any comments or critiques

    are always welcomed.

  1. Yes Jim, it is more graphic than photo.

However, my intention was to take one of my original photos, and using a new Photoshop tool that I recently acquired, create a "Comic Book" rendition specifically for a satirical take on the 3/3 ratings that many of us have received. I thought it lent itself well to this purpose, and added a little humor to the mix as well.

The original photo can be found in my "A Bug’s Life" series.

    Thanks.

A bit unpleasant to look at perhaps, but I'd still love to hear your opinions. All

comments or critiques are always welcomed, and thanks for your time.

Thank you so much for all of your kind words. The chicks have now left the nest, but hopefully I will have the opportunity to photograph them again next year. Best wishes to all of you. =:o)

    Stephen and Michael,

I appreciate your positive comments. In answer to your question, I just increased my canvas size in Photoshop by about 50 pixels to get the white border, and then by flipping the foreground color, I increased the canvas size again by another 1600 pixels. I think that's close to accurate, but it's easy to play around with. I encourage you to give it a try.

    Thanks again.
