1.
Hi Shun.... well.... I'm always around.... reading only...... Thanks for your advice..... I find it so confusing since there are so many new lenses.
Macro lenses are good for more artistic shots like the one here:
This fish is only 12 inches about 4 meters away in the tank

00dlmU-561046284.jpg.770bc231f3fc7f85ee7a724f5dddaaac.jpg

 2.
It’s been quiet a while since I posted….
This time I need your help. I’m looking for a lens for work. I don’t like zoom lenses but in this case that is what I need. I take pictures of koi (nishikigoi AKA Japanese carp). I have mostly primes, 24, 35, 50 and 85 and so on. I need a zoom to cover this range. I love fast lenses but in this case I don’t need that.
I use flash, ISO 200, f/ 9 to 16 (to avoid reflections on the water), speed 200. Cameras I still use D300 and D700. I’ve been using my old faithful 35~70 f/2.8 (The only zoom I have) but it is too slow to autofocus. If I shoot with primes, depending on the size of the fish I need to keep swapping lenses and since my primes are not cheap and I’m surrounded by water I don’t like the idea of swapping.
So, the ideal lens would be the 24~70 f/2.8 but I’m trying to avoid the price since I have not use of f/2.8 and trying to avoid the weight factor too. What I need most is AF speed.
Here are 2 examples of what I do. These fish are 60 cm (24 inch) and they are by my feet. The whole I deal is to get the fish as straight as I can with the pectoral fins open. That happens once in 3 minutes just for a fraction of a second.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Cheers!!!!

PS. Full frame would be best.

 3.
Well, I already have 4 digital cameras. I also have an A-1 and a T90. Jose is right, I wanna use my Nikon lenses on a film body. Recently I bought an adaptor to use the FD body to Nikon mount but I am not really happy with it. So I guess the best would be just to get a Nikon body.

 4.

FE $150.00

FE2 $150.00

FM2 $230.00

Prices rounded up. FE in a little better condition than the FE2
Or would you buy a different camera than the ones above?
Cheers!

 5.
I don't know how people think..... I don't believe Nikon is trying to compete in any way between the CX system and DX or FX.
I think this is a nice lens and it seems like Nikon is really committing to this new system.
The people that Nikon is targeting with this type of camera, I would think that 80% of them don't know what you guys are talking about.
I for one, won't buy this lens. I rather use my 85 on my D700 for portraits but people who don't have any FX cameras and are just coming from PS cameras this could be interesting.
Please don't try to be too professional when talking about an toy camera. this is what i think it really is and if you think of it as a toy, the way I do it is really a nice toy.
How many Nikon 1 user do think can understand the meaning of:

The image from the 32/1.2 on Nikon one series camera will look just like that from an 86mm f3.2 lens on full frame (+/- a bit depending on how you convert 4:3 to 3:2 aspect ratio).

??????????

 6.
You will find friendly people all over but I am not sure about the docks. I am talking about security people, if it is like Narita airport I am sure you will be disappointed but by all means, just go.
Sky Tree, dunno, maybe you won't be able to visit it inside coz you need tickets and some friend told me he couldn't get any. If you are able to get the ticket, you should go to the Tokyo tower first and to the Sky tree later, otherwise you won't enjoy it as much.
