I'm not sure if my flash is broken or I pressed something on my 430ex to act

this way....

 

When the flash is setup on the camera, ETTL mode. I cant adjust my shutter speed

over 1/200 on canon XTI "M" mode. On the LCD screen it shows up to 1/500, 1/1000

and etc, but when I press the shutter halfway to focus on an object, my shutter

speed automatically drops back down to 1/200.

 

My shutter speed goes back to normal only if I turn my flash off or I set it to

High-Speed Sync mode on my 430ex.

 

Did I accidentally pressed something on 430ex or i need to get my flash to see a

doctor?

Do not order from there. Do a search under google, type in bestpricecameras.com review. You'll see a ton of horrible reviews from that website. There are few websites sells just as cheap as bestpricecamera.com, people suspect it's opened by the same person scamming people around.

Nikon is a higher-end professional camera....Sony, well...just doesnt live up to their name in DSLR. If you compare Sony to Fuji...that wouldve made more sense.

 

I use a Canon and if i ever switch to another DSLR camera (not in a million years!)...I would choose Nikon.
