  1. I don't have any time to do any backing up,I have enough cards to cover the event and some. When I get home from my weddings I do copy all cards off to an external and my C drive and burn a DVD of all Raw files, yes this may take a while but that's part of the deal. The cards lay around for a few days also, just in case.
  2. I work with a shot list for formals at every wedding I shoot, every shot is completed and checked off the list. This is and can be the most stressful time of shooting a wedding, posing and getting every body together. It sounds like shots we're missed, their is realy no reason for them to be with held. In my sales meetings to sell wedding packages I cover this procedure with the clients to asure that there will not be any shots missed.
  3. I've been so lucky, after reading all these responces here. I did my first wedding for a friend about 6 years ago (2-1/4 & 35). She payed me with a realy nice coffee table and picked up the cost of film and processing. Shooting a wedding can be very stressful for sure. I have it under control by now, I try and make sure the client and I will come to understanding of how this work best, always give them more. But don't let them steam roll ya.
