I have always liked Delta. I rate Delta 400 at 200 and process in Perceptol. I also like rating Delta 3200 at 1600 and processing in Perceptol. I started this years ago when I discovered that HP5 400 rated at 200 with Perceptol gave me excellent results.

Capturing the Wedding on Digital or on Film. If you don't want to do your own processing why not let the Lab do it from your memory card just as you would with your film. For rush events I have done just that - with excellent results. (at least with 4X6 prints) I think most of todays computerized labs are capable of good results. For the enlargements I do check things out in photoshop though.

I am going to agree with all the responders that choose the 105mm.
I have tried lots of lenses including up to 400mm. For the weight and the money I like the 105mm. I used a f1.8 for years then switched to the (a bit expensive) 105DC AF. That is a great lens. That focal length is short enough to let you have some intimacy with your subject so you can talk soft. I have also been using Nikon's 35-105mm and its sharp, not to expensive and really light. Don't put it down cuz its a zoom. Its a great lens.
Camera companies should protect our investment .

Yep, this has been a very fun read. I think the camera companies are doing better than they ever have. I can remember (years ago) talking to a Hasselblad rep. about how well his companies newest camera was doing. He said "not as well as I'd like. Hasselblads don't wear out." Well digital cameras don't really wear out befor they are discarded for the latest model, but they are discarded just the same.
For myself I will always be looking for the camera about to be set aside for the newest.
