I suggest you stick to coaching first base and Ms Regan will stick to commenting and shooting sports photography.
By the way she's not your "DEAR". Four "My Dears" you are a brave man.
For 23 plus years I was an Associated Press Photos editor. I can speak from experience of looking for hours and hours of many a roll of baseball film that this photo, for what we needed it for, would not have made the first cut.
Now if the player got killed sliding into the base. I might use it.
Nice photo, WHERES THE ----ing BALL!!!
I never had to tell our AP photogs about boring 1st base photos. Some stringers but only once. I had a way with words.
And one more point. Susan has been this close, with out the benefit of a 180 mm lens.
She got so close a few years ago she was hospitalized and still has pain from her "Up Close" encounter with an NFL running back during a Super Bowl. I think she is still used in the NFL Hi-lites show. So she is famous and she never coached Firstbase.
So Mr Brown stick to coaching and leave the sports photography to folks like Susie R.
