    hI David,

    I've been having the same problems and losing alot of shots. After reading the forum I tried something and it seems to work. I took out the cr123s and am shooting with just the aa's and it seems to be working fine. I know I'll go through a crap load of aa's but it looks like I'll at least get my shots. Hope this helps ( and I hope it works- I've got a wedding in an hour)
