  1. Thank yo so much Todd... I appreciate your time and feedback. This is an edited photograph of an orchid... I gave it effects on PS, added the wall texture and gave it a graffitti impression :) I believe I might have the original photo on te Flower segment.

Will be looking forward to more of your visits.

Wow, Mark, thanks so much for such an "indepth" analysis of this shot... You sure pointed out and viewed things I hadn't and loved your interpretation of it. It was a quiet and peaceful moment and I did appreciate the interesting patern of the baranches' shadows... I am glad you liked the composition. I am not very fond of PS, but I will remove a few of the stains on the floor, see how that looks :)

Thanks again for all your interesting comments and your time!

I was a bit frustrated trying to find a "right" place to catch a sunset... I

realized I wasn't going to find my ideal spot, but found an interesting

composition... Looking forward to reading comments and suggestions...

Just like us, every object's image is projected by it's surrounding

elements... each in a unique way.

Wonderful colors, tones, atmosphere.. achieved quite a bit of DOF which I find difficult to achieve with usually low diaphragm openings... What F and time did you require for this? Doesn't seem like you used a lot of time?

I really like the outcome of your photo.

  2. Pamela, lovely shot....As Riccardo mentions, you "fall into it"... the mood is splendidly set... the warmth and sense of time is also captured and perfectly transmited... One of those shots you can very well look at over and over and over again :)

Love the composition as well... like mentioned in one of the comments above, cropping the sky can generate amazingly enought yet another sensation, perhaps a bit more dramatic.

Antonio, que moto mas fascinante! y no es porque me guste los gatos. Me gusto mucho el manejo de la luz y las diagonales con las que has compuesto esta toma.

Felicidades y gracias por compartir :)

    Hi B :)

Thanks for dropping by and viewing.

Ants keep impressing me. Their hability to work together, coordinate themselves, keep active with such an amazing structure... and of course the strength they have to carry out their duties... I hope I come up with better shots once I can get my hands on better equipment!

Thanks again for sharing your thought :)

    Hi Raymond,

Thanks for sharing your insight... to be completely honest, when I shot this pic, I don't thing I wasn't too in handling WB, I am still trying to figure out how to use it in the best way :)

In this pic. I did some slight adjustments in color.. added a bit of yellow (If I remember well) to reduce a bit of the blue... But regarding the lense quality, I guess you are right, I was happy with the opticals, specially with the macro mode

...BTW I Love your work :)

    Best Regards,

    Towards the Sun

Thank you all for your encouraging comments, I appreciate your time and words :)

Raymond, sad to say this, but there was nothing fancy about this pic... I was taking pics of flowers one afternoon after a rainy morning... while doing so, I noticed the tiny snail, the clean leaves and the "path of light" created by the bit of sun starting to shine.

I took this pic with a mavica minolta on Macro mode, thus the short DOF... just moved around a bit to get the angle of sun a bit in diagonal and a bit of "contra luz"? not sure of the translation (shooting against the light)... a bit of adjustment in contrast and a bit of cropping. That is about it :)

Thanks again for all your feedback and looking forward to seeing more of your work

Lovely...it's like a work of art :) I truly appreciate how you handle short DOF in your pictures to achieve such incredible atmospheres... Thanks for sharing.

Great shot! love how you can tell so much about a place with out including all the elements... subtle hints of all that might be going on with few dicreate elements :)

    Thanks for sharing!
