When I preview a picture on my monitor it has some flashing black areas in the

picture can anyone explain why this is or how to fix it. I know you can hit the

enter button and it stops flashing. Im just courious what the black flashing

areas are.

With a D50 can I set it on continuous AF for sports but if I happen to shoot a stand still object will it take that pic fine also....

I just dont want to mess up my new D50 with a lens that shouldnt be attached

This will be used for football games during the day. Will this Vivitar 100-

400mm f/4.5-6.7 AF lens work on the Nikon D50 and work properly....This lens

was used on a Nikon AF 35mm. This lens was from 1995.

Im looking for a D50 body I placed a order with a geniuscameras online they

have real bad reviews the camera is on back order so I canceled order. Now I

need a D50 body soon. Where is good place online to get one would that be ebay.

I dont want to pay a great deal can I find one around 400.00 I know

bestbuy,ritz camera all that is pretty high....Any suggestions..

I have a AF Vivatar 300mm lens to I used with the Nikon AF lens on my Nikon 35mm but I dont know if the Vivatar will fit the 300mm body. Maybe one day it will be easier to zoom in and take a pic under the lights....

Im going to be using my D50 for taking pics at a college football game. I have

a AF 50mm lens and a 70-210mm AF What do I need to do to have clear pictures. I

do have a flash its a nikon speedlight sb-23 off a 35mm Not sure if it works

with D50 SLR does it??? If I dont use the flash what are some things I need to

do far as setting ISO and Aperture?? Will be taking hand held too. I think

thats the major thing today is taking pics low light areas...I will be at

college football game.. I hear people talking about these wide angle lens that

fit on the end of the current lens you are using does this help with light or

just to give a wider pic is all??

i got mine from geniuscameras.com they might be a scam shop to i dont know but I got warnity plus everything with the body but the lense. Thats better than 100.00 batt...lol

thanks guys I didnt place the order with them.....I told the guy on the phone I didnt fell comfey let me get back to him I was feeling rushed. I found the body comes with all that was pictured the batt,charger,video cable,usb cable and a 1 yr warnity for like 349.00 The other guy selling the batt seperate and charger it didnt even come with warnity that was seperate too......www.century21electronics.com is where they tried to rip me off...Thanks I think the one batt be fine I dont plan on 700 pic between charges.

Well Im just getting the D50 body so nothing really coming with it. I already got two lense. When I was placing my order the guy asked if I needed the batt. I would think it came with it but it must dont with the body. said a 2hr batt was like 100.00 and 4 hr batt like 199.99 on sale I said huh these are rechargable he said yea you need a charger they are 100.00 and something I was like let me order this later then I got back on here....So what do I need I saw some batt and chargers on bbay like 3.00 up too 69.95 I want a batt thats not going to go dead in a few hrs.....thanks guys

So a batt for a D50 run like over 100.00 what are there 2hr batt and 4 hr batt.

So you cant just go to walmart and buy a CRV3 type batt that alot of point n

shoot digitals take.....Im starting from scratch with a D50 so what batt should

I get??? I need a charger to charge the batt when it goes dead too??? Whats the

Thanks guys not that im helpless its that you all are the pros I have had so many say yea it will work others say yea it will fit but might not work properly others say no I just got tired of hearing it all I didnt want to find it and second guess myself...I figured some out there prob using the same Im asking about. I even had a camera shop tell me it wouldnt work......Sorry if I upset anyone.

Ok thank you Sir Yes this Camera is like from the early 90's the Nikon N4004s AF 35mm Im glad to know the lense I have to fit this camera will fit the D50 digital body I may buy one now.

I have a 35 mm Nikon AF its body looks like the D50 I have two lense for the

35mm a 50mm and a 70-210mm both these lense are AF you hold button half way and

the lense zooms and auto focus. I want to know If I buy a D50 Nikon body will

these two lense off my 35mm Nikon work on the D50......Marionr26@aol.com
