On the hunt,, but keeping an eye on me.
-
One of the best wildlife shots I've seen in a while!
-
I've always admired your photography but this one is really special.
-
The eyes antennas and the tooth like spikes on his legs are what I
tried to capture

Red Tailed Hawk.. Ohio
-
VERY effective....aqnd very imaginative
-
Existing blooms artificially colored, remaining buds will be white orchids

Love the eyes! I would like to see the left side of the face with some shadows to help define the profile. Maybe the main light, flash or whatever on the right, and a lessor light even window light on the left would get you there. Similar to the effect you have on signora5 BUT a great picture

Not sure landscape is correct category but nothing else seemed to fit. I
did this in color, but it has more impact in B & W

This shot is simply outstanding.. All aspects of it.

I've been watching the habits of this goose, and today, set up in just
the right spot between two trees, had all the right settings on the
camera.... and got lucky

This is a .75" high cactus, it's spines very sharp and protect the white
folicals.

How many of us have felt this frustration when the old computer goes
down?

Not sure this is the right catogory. I liked it because there is a certain
comfort about shoes that have traveled many diverse paths.

Loved this shot! I had one similar and had a problem similar to yours in that the building was well lit, but the steeple was not. I solved that problem by taking several shots at different exposures, (I think it was 5) and then ran them through Photomatrix. Sisn't blow out the hot spots, and the steeple came in nearly as well as the building.

I agree with earlier comments, Great shot, and the barbwire for some reason adds to the whole thing. I've tried to get these kind of shots but don't have the patients to wait for that "Just the right moment" and used a motion detector on my DX2. Got some good shots but never as good as this one where you have both birds working. Nice!

Great shot, expression, crisp, great color... I was even impressed with the detail in your finger? or palm?
