this is onion creek just outside of the main entrance into the needles district of canyonlands.

now that i look at it from a different computer there is definity some magenta all around. no photoshop done here other than a bit of contrast adjustments. i used a 3 stop GND filter. i'm not a believer in HDR.

love it! it looks like a throw back from your work at photo school. with the added touch of the holga. you don't see too many holga landscapes. show me more, i know you have them.

I love it mike! The colors are wonderful. And i didn't notice the symmetry until i started looking at it closer. The colors and the symmetry are what make this shot. The only thing is that i wish it was more centered making it work with the square format a bit more. But other than that, some of your best work yet. Do you have anymore like this?

how did you get it to stand up

this is a spot on composition. but something is throwing me off and bothering me. did you use HDR? i think what's bothering me is the whtie balance on the street. it seems green to me. my assumption is that you set your wb for the sky but the street was lit green flouresence if you shot this in raw i would make 2 different photos for each wb then put them together.

i went east but only to the first slot. you could spend a whole day exploring the lower section, and then the far west.

This is actually in Waterholes Canyon a few miles from Antelope. This place is as beautiful as antelope, minus all of the people. I would highly suggest a visit to this location.
