1. This is my first year shooting weddings, I got the D200 and the 17-55 lens and I have not taken it off since. Amazing quality, quick and reliable. It was highly recommended to me and I also rocommend it.
I wouldn?t even think of getting a different lens in this zoom range, it will pay it self off.

  2. Hello Reny, I just picked up the D200 a few weeks ago, I?m shooting weddings and the weather hasn?t been perfect. Some drizzling rain and cooler temperatures too. So far it has been emasculate. The photographer that I?m working with has told me that he has had his d200 camera wet a few times and he has had no problems what so ever. I haven?t been exposed to too much dust though.
That's my two cents
3. Hello all, thanks for the overwhelming reply
I live in Hamilton Ontario.
I had no idea of these other stores. I'm glad I asked.
I just picked up D200 for 1899 and a Nikkor AF-S DX 17-55mm F2.8 G IF-ED for 1699.

I purchased the 2 from Henrys but did some research and found a better prices, Henrys matched it with no hassle. I saved $200. Not to shabby I thought.

Now I'm just looking for accessories as I go (memory, batteries, filters, rechargeable batteries for flash), in time maybe another D200 depending on how big I go with weddings.

I have the SB-800, Stroboframe 360 bracket and SC-29 cable already that I used with my D70s.

  4. Hello all, I am looking for reputable retailers in Canada that anyone has used

    and recommends.
I have used

www.henrys.com
www.vistek.ca

Any recommendation would be appreciated

  5. Thank you very much for your suggestions. The photographer I am shooting with also recommends a Skylight filter to be consistent with the results. I will be returning my polarizer for the B+W KR 1.5 skylight filter. Thanks to all for your responses. This was my first post on photo.net and it was a pleasant one. I hope to soon have some portraits up.

  6. I purchased a TIFFEN 77MM CIRCULAR POLARIZER to protect the Lens. Cam anyone

recommend any specific filter to use when shooting groups of people (wedding events)

The HOYA 77MM S-HMC CIRCULAR POLARIZER is a bit more money. would it make a big

    difference in my pictures?

    Thanks
