    I thing these cristals grew this way because the water started freezing from the rock, which was colder being above water, outward. I use to live in Pennsylvania where winters are very cold...you could find all kinds of ice formations there.

    I agree with you about my frames...i'll work on that.

    This nest was on a tree in front of my house. Two weeks later the same bird or one of his siblings literally fell on my head...on his first flight attempt. The mother of course was right there waiting for him.

    It was an unforgettable moment indeed. I only took 4 pictures, they were getting up when i saw them. I stayed near them for only a minute....they were still wet. In my portfolio there is another picture of a fawn, maybe one of these two, one week old.
