"I'm afraid it doesn't do much for me. The clouds do have some interesting patterns and color, but it is too subtle to grab me. No lines to lead the eye, except the horizon which leads out. Если бы вы внимательнее посмотрели, то заметили, что как волосы, так и накидка в движении и напряженее рук как раз очень уместно. Мой совет - старайтесь смотреть глубже поверхности. Thank you, Mark, for your thorough critique. I want to comment on some of your points just to clarify them. Perhaps the suggested direction of girl's eyes should be fight for casual conversation. These are gossiping girls and one of them just heard a shocking news. Her head is pointed toward subject of their conversation but her eyes tell the viewer that she is all ears.

You are right - it's not a portrait but it was placed in Portraits category because this category is more suitable then Pets, Landscape or any other )))

Finally, about those burned edges.... It's a simple frame with the blerred edges. I guess, it looks like bad case of burning )))
