1.
Years ago,I bought a Epson very expensive scanner, the Expression 1600 pro, having in mind to scan my films, because I did not know other machines.
Unfortunately,when I tried to ,I realised,that I gad a terrible enemy,dust,which I could not eliminate.
How do you scan those films, without seeing big dust spots,in the scanned pictures?

 2.
I have film cameras only.
One F5,and three F2s,(two of them F2AS).
As of lenses now.
One 20mm F2.8
One 24mm f2.8
One 28mm F2.8
One 35mm f2.0
One 50mm f1.8
One 50mm f1.4
One 55mm f3.5 macro
One 85mm f1.8
One 105mm f2.5
One 135mm f2.8
One 180mm f2.8 AF-D
One 17-35mm f2.8
One 80-200mm f2.8
Finished...

 3.
I found two more.
One,says new,for $2500.00,and one says mint,mint,mint,for $1500.00,item number 110402184196.
Has photos showing it as really new.
I admire them, but I already have two of them,(not so new indeed),so let some other guy take care of them.

 4.
Not a problem for finding batteries.I have put one lithium battery, instead of two silver oxide, which I think it has.
If you want, write about,to tell you the type of this.
I think, the only problem,is that ther ia not a replacement part for the resistor of the finder,if and when it goes off.

 5.
I think I go for a D3 body these days,having a lot of older lenses,plus two zooms,ie,20mm/f2.8, 24mm/f2.8, 28mm/f3.5, 35mm/f2, 50mm/f1.4, 50mm/f1.8, 55mm/f3.5, 85mm/f1.8, 105mm/f2.5, 135mm/f2.8, 180mm/f2.8 ED, and the zooms,are the 17-35mm,and the 80-200mm/f2.8.
A friend of mine, told me,that most of them are of no use, with the D3.
If it so,which of them,I have to sell, and which I should buy some day,to take the 100% of capability of the camera?
Theodore.

 6.
I have a Epson Expression 1600,which can scan films, but unfortunately, while I have payed for this, much money,I have never used it as a film scanner, because I had a problem with dust.
So,I have two questions.
Have you any idea,of the quality of this device,as a a film scanner, because as a usual scanner,it is of course very good.
And second, what should I do,to overcome the dust problem?

 7.
I found some original Nikon close up attachments, but the boxes wrote, close up attachment No 0,No 1,No 2,and the diopters of each.
Are they, those, that you have bought?
