The photo was taken with a white backdrop and is heavily photoshopped. I superimposed a picture of wood paneling I had taken previously and erased it where it overlapped her body. The contour around her belly is a knothole in the paneling. :)

Nadira is a Middle Eastern dancer (or "Belly Dancer"), which is why I put her picture under dance. This is a promotional image for use at the nightclub she dances at. Perhaps it would be better categorized under portraits, but I try to keep the dance related images together. Redford is nice and is very close to Dearborn, MI which has one of the largest Arabic populations outside of the Middle East. The costume is one of many she wears when performing. :)
