I want to move a folder of RAW images from my internal HD to my external HD.

However, i don't want to lose all of the work already done of the RAW images in

Lightroom (presets, white balance, etc.) How do I move the images so that I

don't lose all my work?

Well...I'm nice so I would probably show up and shoot anyway, and then not eve touch them (no editing, no blog, nothing) until payment is received (I also have a late payment penalty listed in my contract).

However, my contract also says that if I do not receive payment, I won't come.

I don't know that I wouldn't show up. But I certainly wouldn't do any further work until payment was received, along with a certain late payment fee.

I'm going to be cropping my photos and need to figure out the best ratio to do

it. I know not to play with the resolution, but I'm wondering do you crop with

the ratio for a 8x10, 11x14, 4x6?

When you use actions, do you have a set few that you use for most things? Or do

you use a whole bunch of different ones for a bunch of different photos?

I'm thinking of getting Kubota actions, and I'm leaning towards Vol. 2 to start

with. I'm wondering what your favorite actions are.

Anyone attending this years Photo Plus Expo? This will be my first one. I'm

only attending one seminar (would love to attend more, but I have an infant at

home and can't get away for that long).

Hi all,

I'm starting to do more wedding photography, and its time to get a backup

camera. I currently have the Rebel XT and am thinking this will be a backup

camera to whatever it is I'm going to get next. I've been looking at the new

Rebel (XTi) but have also been thinking of going with the 30D. What is the

major difference between these cameras and why should I choose one over the other.

I'm trying to build up my stack of CF memory cards and I'm wondering how much

memory is sufficient to have at a wedding? Is 10GB enough? Should I shoot for

15 GB? How do you break up the cards? I know its not a good idea to have

everything on one card, but do you use 10 1GB cards? 5 2GB cards? Just trying

to get an idea.

I was looking through some photos I had taken as a guest at a wedding, and I

generally like this picture. I'm still in the process of learning photoshop,

and I'm wondering if there is a way to fix the blown highlights on his face. I

have Photoshop CS (not CS2) and Photoshop Elements 4.0 and I'm using a mac.

Hello all,

I'm new the realm of Wedding Photography, but I have been doing Liturgical

Photography for a number of years (I'm the only person I know who specializes in

photography of church events!). Anyway, I'm starting to spread out to wedding

photography, and I'm starting to put together a website, and I'm wondering if I

need to register a business before claiming a name, creating business cards,

etc, etc.
