I was taking pictures in a small town in central Iowa and came across

a small Army surplus store that had been closed for a while. I

thought it would be nice if the only remanents of war were consigned

to dusty storefronts that are closed from lack of interest. Peace

I know I could have used more DOF. Does this crop work? Please

comment and rate. Thanks.

This crop was suggested by M Hayward and I think it does make the picture more interesting. I did notice that the bottom edge of the photo is soft. Not enough DOF. Original picture is in folder also.

I took this photo using a Kiev 60. I used a large aperture to

minimize the depth of field and it allowed me to use a faster shutter

speed to compensate for the big mirror slap. Image was taken near the

town baseball diamond. Please tell me what I could do to improve this

photo and rate it. BTW forgot my light meter at home so I had to

guess the exposure. Thanks

Took this picture on vacation. Don't know if it really conveys the

size of this formation. Tell me what you think and please rate it.
