I disagree, I much prefer lighter backgrounds for birds. The mark on the wing is slightly off putting but that is nature, this is a beautifully exposed shot. Very Well done.

A nicely toned image, although I think this is a composite as you will not get 4 stags together in the Autumn (fall), they're too busy fighting for the rut. The antlers seem to suggest they are all the same stag.
