  1. That's the Upper and Lower Yosemite Falls, not Vernal/Nevada Falls. Nice photo, though - I'd try boosting the contrast a little to bring out the difference between the rock walls and the trees. Be careful that such an adjustment might cause too much brightness in the water, in which case I'd stick the image as it is here.

  2. For all the photos of this bridge, you've produced one that's new and unique, something deserving congrats. I agree that cloning out the bench on the right would be an improvement, but if you leave it as-is, you've got terrific shot.

  3. I agree with the night shooting recommendation. I also recommend going around to the side of the lagoon in front of the Bellagio entrance to the registration desk area. Your shots will have the Paris resort, Eiffel Tower, and balloon in the background.  Every casino has a parking deck, and the top level of the Bellagio's deck gives a nicely elevated view of the lagoon. And all of the shots work as well in B&W as in color. And, if time allows, be there at 3 PM on Sunday for the first show of the day, always choreographed to "Time to Say Goodbye" by Andrea Boccelli.

  4. This photo has all the right elements except one. The color, the mood, placement of the subject within the frame - all work really well. But your horizon isn't level, and the castle isn't vertical. By my reckoning it needs about a 1.5 degree rotation to the left.

And if that image was mine, a large print would be hanging on a wall in my home.

  5. Nice composite. One does not see a rainbow looking toward the sun; the sun has to be behind the viewer (although not directly behind). And the shadow side of the building on the right is very inconsistent with the brightness of the sunset. Kinda like an image of lions and elephants walking down 5th Avenue - just because it didn't actually happen doesn't mean it can't be an interesting image.

    Red Deer

I like it very much.  You've done a good job of showing us the deer while also showing us the deer's environment.  Well done.

  6. I realize the shape of the shoreline will influence the appearance, but the horizon is not level and detracts from a well crafted image. Also, the blue in the sky seems a bit intense for the time of day and lighting, but that's pretty subjective.
