Hello, thanks for looking.
Feedback is welcome.

This is not a portrait, its a commentary.... it doesn't work cropped into a headshot. Her legs and arms are deliberately mirroring what the carcass is doing, and the lighting suggests symmetry... the light spot below leads you to the light spot above, bringing the viewer around the frame.... why would I want to cut all that out?
With a tight crop there is much less to explore here, and the carcass (and the overall meaning here) is lost almost completely.
Not meaning to sound catty! I just feel pretty strongly about my work. :)

Nope, don't like Jims crop, I think he missed the point!

Wow, that looks like fun!
Good for you getting such a nice headshot :)

This one is a reject from a series I've been working on. The
reflection of the thing there is a happy accident.
Thoughts and opinions welcome. If you're going to leave a 3, I'd love
to know why... Feedback with words will help me improve.

I find the composition troublesome. A crop would help this alot. I would remove some of the dead space from above and behind her head.
Also, her shoulders look tense, her neck is bunched up (she should be long and lean) which accentuates her size more than she'd probably like. By moving above her more and shooting down, you'll get a more distinct chinline and disguise a thick neck.
Clever idea with the fern, but it dominates the image. Her expression here doesn't engage me.
Best of luck with future shoots!

Thank you very much, both of you. (I'm pretty sure the italian is saying happy things? Or else he's very excited about how bad it is! ;) )
I'm happy to see, I've got a lovely set of 3's on this one. I would love it if the maker of the pair of 3's would come forward and say what in particular is so distasteful about the shot. I can't improve by 3's alone!
