I have the D70s with the kit lens and I have had a recurring problem with the "r09" message. It only occurs in AUTO mode and the lens will not focus. I am able to make the exposure, but of course it is horribly out of focus.

I was able to "trick" the lens into focusing by either pointing and focusing at a subject far away or by zooming in or out and focusing. These would usually result in the camera focusing again, but as of yesterday that no longer works. I want to avoid shipping it to a repair place if I can.

I'm going to try cleaning the lens connections to see if that helps.

I recently aquired a Yashicaflex with the internal lightmeter. I have no idea

how to use it (I'm a TLR virgin) and I didn't find much info on the web. Does

anyone know any good links or where I may obtain a user's manual or how-to

guide? Any personal experience/advice also welcome! Your help is greatly

appreciated!
