  1. I shot this (4024) down on old Ballard Avenue 8 March 2008. Poor historic district has

taken on the aweful edge of trendy boutiques. However, this shop has the best

    window displays anywhere in Seattle.

Love to hear thoughts. Beam them over. Or comment. Which ever you prefer.

    Ah, loss...

This is different reflective angle on the same subject as my last post.

    Enjoy!

Getting clever with luxagraphia. No PS work. No manipulations.

    Single exposure.

Shot on the mean streets of Ballard 27 October 2007. Grrr...

I like it pretty well, but it seems to lack the impact I was hoping

    for.

  2. NO PS WORK--unmanipulated.

This photograph (5269) was shot in Discovery Park on 9 September 2007.

This small series is here to show the refinements I have been making

    in my techniques.

    Thanks for taking a look.

Sorry for not posting more lately; I've been out shooting. I did

pick up a new point and shoot (Canon SD950) but I'm waiting for Canon

to release a replacement for the 5d (and growing impatient).

This photograh was shot on 20 June 2007.

More blue neon tubes shot luxagraphically. So much fun I just can't

stop myself. Like I'd want to.

    Thanks for your indulgence.

  4. NO PS WORK--UnManipulated.

This photograph (8189) was shot in a hair salon over in Fremont on 4

    May 2007.

I have merely captured the distortions in a small bit of glass block

    wall.

    Thanks for taking a look.

I have no idea what this caterpillar is or what it was doing. I

don't believe I've ever seen one like this here (and I played with a

lot of caterpillars growing up here).

    Thanks for peeking.

This photograph (1075) was shot on 4th Avenue, downtown, on 7 June

    2007.

This comes from some blue christmas lights in a tall tree on the side

of the street. I was able to stand under the tree and shoot strait

up into the boughs. Luxagraphic motions, as per usual.

    Thanks for taking a look.

This photograph (4006) was shot at Seabreeze on 24 July 2007.

They have a fountain fireplace combination feature, and that was used

    to create this shot.

    Thanks for taking a look.

This photograph (8934) was shot at the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks here

in Ballard on 15 May 2007. I don't know the kind of tree but it's

one that blooms little pink flowers.

Slight camera motion for effect. Welcome to my luxagraphic world.

My aim here was to create a photograph that looked normal in

thumbnail and which transformed into a Cézanne upon expanding.

Thanks for taking a look. See ya 'round.

This photograph (2813) was shot on 4 July 2007 on Lake Union.

What you see is the product of lights reflected on water and time.

    Thanks for taking an interest.

  7. No PS work. No post-processing work. No digital manipulations of any

    kind.

Camera and lens motion only--pure luxagraphia.

This photograph (2993) was shot from a boat (moored) on Lake Union on

    4 July 2007.

The slight camera motion I used created the uniform curves throughout

the shot. The fireworks did the rest.

    Thanks for taking a peek.

  8. This photograph (1307) was shot in our new SAM sculpture park on 11

    June 2007.

What is fascinating here is the optical illusion created by my

perspective. I let you ponder that a bit before I tell the tale.

Thanks for taking an interest in my photographs.

Rust doesn't sleep, it's true; but here in Seattle it actually forms

    unions and goes on marches.

Thanks for taking an interest in my photographs.
