I love my 50 1.4 to death but I think the 1.8 focuses faster (with the 5D).
-
Not sure about Sam's (stopped using them when they screwed me over once) but Costco does print the file number on the back. I use Costco for my personal prints. Miller's for clients. :)

I love my Shootsac for this. Quick and easy! I shoot 1 bodie, all primes all the time!
-
I currently use Instaproofs, they have been very good to me!
I will soon make the leap to PickPic...best thing out there!

I tried DWF but found myself more comfortable at OSP. Plus its free. :)

I love my 50mm 1.4 :)
-
Laurie, I may be interested. We plan things like this all the time on OSP> Maybe you should post something there?

I use www.kissweddingbooks.com

I do not own anything but primes. And I know some very high profile wedding photogs that do the same. We are out there...shhh don't tell the secret. haha
I shoot most of my weddings with my 85mm 1.8 and 50mm 1.4.

I believe the trade show is $15 per day. Are you interested in networking with other photographers? Then I would suggest going. At least its a write off! :)
-
Yep I use Blogger and I make my images larger by going in and changing some easy code by hand!
-
www.kissweddingbooks.com does not have any gutter

I highly recommend www.kissweddingbooks.com

Thanks everyone for your feedback!
And thanks Anne for those links, I will have my hands full this afternoon looking at them!

I'm looking for some sort of program that can keep my schedule, bride info,
etc. I'd like it specifically to just be for wedding photographers and it also
has to be for a PC. (not Outlook!)
What do you use for something like that?
-
Why don't you download the 30 day free trial and find out if its for you?
Thats what I did, and I cut my workflow time in half!

Oh enjoy! Jerry is an amazing speaker and Bambis work is just phenomenal. I went to the San Diego one last week (or was it two weeks ago?)
Bring money, I spent $100+ on dvds (although this is totally not a requirement).
Take notes, bring your camera...enjoy!

A gallery wrap, or a framed photo to hang would be nice. But check with the venue to see if they have room.
Canvasondemand.com is offering 1 free gallery wrap (you pay shipping) to professional photographers and I'm using mine to make a promotional photo for a winery.

Love it. Keep it.

Zookbinders, Kissweddingbooks.com, Leather Craftsmen, there are a few options. :)

My goal every wedding is to get a different wedding ring shot.

I made this leap about 2 months ago and it was the best decision I ever made! Enjoy it!

Oh I answered my own question by searching OSP. http://www.aljacobs.com/THE%20BLACK%20BOX.htm
This is what I wanted.
Thanks Eric and Abe.
How do you organize the digital images you give to clients?
in Wedding & Event
Posted
I seperate them in to folders:
Getting Ready
Details
Ceremony
Portrait
Reception
I label all the images to go with the folders, ie. July26_Ceremony001, etc
Never had any complaints and I deliver 1000+ images!
