  1. Anthony, Shaun and all the contributor, Thanks for the help in helping other including me, I didn't know abour this shortcuts. I do have CS2 I'll be getting it update to CS3 but stil Element is less complicated and use it more than any other. and this is true about what PS ia all about... to learn from each other and in the process I learn more also.

Hint for a free program. Go to Google.com > select more > select even more and download PICASA2 a great program to classified your picture by date and categories, you can alter any picture leaving the original intact, you can e-mal pictures from inside this program and beside lots of feature to play with any photo, it does have the best and the easier trick to "cure" red eyes.

    Again, Thanks for your help.

  2. http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00KciK A PN friend, suggested that some staff PN members rate anonymously because if not, every single picture will be in the top Photo, I guess, there's some true about this because I had seen great and ordinary pictures, with the same number of comments and rating. (All because of friendship) I Think, PN should have a dedicated team of professionals taking turns, rating every pictures the way they rate movies here in NY, with stars. 1 star- Bad / 2 Stars- fair / 3-Stars- good / 4 Stars- Excellent / and 5 Stars- Remarkable, Outstanding Awesome. this is only my opinion buy make you think if PN staff can dedicate some PRO to to do this job fair and square. of course, they will raise the fee which I don't care if the rating is true to the bone.

Just started a thread about this issue and others at: http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00KciK

Maybe they should have a dedicated team of professionals taking turns, rating every pictures the way they rate movies here in NY with stars.

  4. Micki, thanks for the bottom of my heart for the way you think of me and you are absolutely right. how come anyone can appreciate and rate a picture just from a thumbnail, sometime I have to enlarge a picture to the max to really get into it. and Viviana, I give thanks to you because that is what I want to hear about micro, it's a big help coming from you after seeing your awesome work. Thanks
  5. Dear Panaglotis, I agree with your comment 100% except for the rain.

I did cancel the trip because it. (I guess somebody upstairs hear lol) but I'm going to my mountain home tomorrow where there is always something to shot at. (I was asking pointers to the micro photographers because don't want to be sting by a wasp or a bee, lol

  6. I been taking all kind of picture for a while (before I use to do weddings and

small assignments as well as Peoples, landscape, seascape, you name it. but my

life as a musician, let me no time to dedicated it to photos in full but today,

I'm a successful RE Broker and have plenty of time for photography. I'm glad to

discover PN because of the inspiration of thousands of incredible captures in

here and the advices I've get from great professionals in here, which have made

me improve dramatically. One thing about PN, I have some complains about the 3/3

raters who rate without telling you why but I guess the trick is bypassing then

taking better and better pictures (I even have a humorist gallery for them in my

portfolio) but my main question is about micro photography:

I just got myself a 105 micro Nikkor VR, together with the R1 flash and commander.

even if I shot some flowers before, I'm going to the Bronx Botanical garden to

try this amazing lens. I will like to hear some advice from the expert on this

micro and flowers field even if they use any other cameras.

    Thanks

  7. When I joined PN it was with the agreement that the advertising in the comments under the pictures will be out the minute we pay the annual fee. if they are going to stick up with that ad they should place at the bottom and give our subscription money back or better as Matt said to double the subscription fee (which I also gladly pay) and just keep putting the ads on Newcomers.
