"battery-free operation? I'm interested... I thought all cameras needed a battery to work - how else does pressing the button do anything to the shutter? Even my old SLR from my dad runs on battery... what cameras can do this?"
There is something called film, and there are lots of film cameras that work without a battery.

It doesn't matter what format you shoot. It is all about knowing how to expose your images and more than anything is all about talent, something you can't buy at your local store.

I agree with Tana. Those designs look dated. I'm not a big fan of business cards with pictures on it and specially with fonts glowing. I would say keep it simple and try to come up with a simple but consistent design. There are lots of books about business card designs that you can use for ideas. If you go to a place like Borders you can find those. Good luck!

Congratulations! Good job.

If I was somebody's second shooter I would never use the images taken for my own business. That is not right. That was not your wedding. Imagine if the bride and groom or the families see their picture on a photographer's website they never hired. I don't see it very professional, I see it more like an individual that is desperate to have pictures to show.

I would recommend you to learn some HTML. It is simple and you would save lots of money.

<p>I shoot 100% film. I shoot medium format (6x6 and 6x4.5) for the formals, engagements, bridals, etc because i love the format, it is so much better when it comes to composition. And I shoot 35mm for the receptions. If you are happy with there is no need to go digital. I have several diferent cameras some of them are from the 70's and I can do a way better job than any of the top of the line digital cameras. You have to work with whatever works for you. Don't worry about the latest equipment. Some people care more about their expensive equipment than their actual work. I would recomend kodak 400uc for color film and kodak 400cn (c-41 black and white film.) If you love film shoot film. Check out these two sites: (they both shoot 100% film as well)</p>

<p><a href="http://www.instaproofs.com">Instaproofs</a> wont print anything. You'll have to take care of the printing and the shipment of the pictures. They will take care of the rest. They send you a check twice a month. They'll let you know when you receive an order, so you can print it and ship it. When I get an order I send the images via FTP to my lab and they do the work. They bring it back to my house and I just ship it. It is quite simple. <a href="http://www.instaproofs.com">Instaproofs</a> is the best way to go.</p>
