Sigma in Thailand is no help. I've sent emails to Sigma UK but no reply. Customer service appears to be non-existent.

Does anyone know where I can obtain a replacement motor for a 14mm Sigma
fisheye? I have a tech who will repair almost any lens or camera for about
$30-40 US. He has examined this lens and determined the motor is bad. With the
price of a replacement if I can find a motor it would be cost effective for me
to repair.
I have looked all over the web for a parts cross reference but have thus far not
found one. If there is any other lens in the Sigma line that uses this motor
that information would be helpful too.

Is anyone here familar with the Rochester Optical Premo View? I find little on
the interent about this camera though there is a photo and some information on
one website. Another article on the history of the Deardorff camera claims
Laben Deardorff was at least partly responsible for the design.
What movements is this camera capapble of? I acquired one last year that is
still sitting at my family's home in the US. The camera I bought had a 5x7
Burke and James back fitted so it could use film rather than plates. I am
debating on whether to have it shipped overseas so I can use it before I
retuirn home. Any information is a appreciated.

Does anyone know where I can obtain a copy of the Yashica T4 service manual?
I've tried all the usual sources with no success. I did find a T2 service
manual but nothing else. Any help is appreciated.

I have a lens labeled Planatic 5x7 Series III. There is no other maker's mark
though it is housed in a Wollensak/Century Shutter. It appears to be a triple
convertible with a focus of 8-14-18 though the shutter only has a single
aperture scale. I have searched for information on this lens without success.
Does anyone have any information on this lens?

Does anyone know where I can obtain a coupling for a Mamiya 645 1000s motor
winder? I could also use photos and dimensions of the coupling if anyone is
willing to do that for me. If I can't find one I can have it made where I live
for a reasonable price.

Hi,
Does anyone know the amount of metal that needs to be machined from a Revere 33
to permit proper installation of a Wollensak Lens board with the 2.7 lenses?

Over the past several months I have acquired several Turner-Reich convertibles.
Several are in need of re-cementing. Looking at a 25-19.7-12 it appears I will
have to machine the brass to remove the glass. Am I correct that this is the
only method to free the lens so the elements can be separated and re-cemented ?

Randy,

From what I can see of the pictorial view is has a retractable rail. My camera appears to have a fixed rail that is now separated from the central block. In photo #1 you can see the rail off to the right.

Charles,
Thanks for the reply. I have looked at the Home Portrait and it is similar. However, my camera has both front and rear focus which the Home Portrait does not. The shaft and gear are missing in the rear but the hole where they were is still evident. I have looked at the other models displayed on the site you provided the link for and while it resembles several in some aspects none appear to be the idential model.

I recently purchased a Gundlach view camera primarily to salvage the packard
shutter and for the tripod and lens. I am guessing the lens is a Turner-Reich
since what is there appears to be an original set. Most of the parts appear to
be there though the bed will need to be reglued should I decide to make a user
out of it. I can have a machinist here make up the missing geared shaft for the
rear focus should I decide to go that way. The camera is presently at my US
address awaiting shipment to me in Thailand. I have no idea what model or size
it is and I didn't want to ask too many quetions of the previous owner since I
didn't want the price to rise. Below are links to several photos of what remains
of the camera. Any information is appreciated.

Paul, I am interested in a copy of the manual if it is still available. If you have a scanned copy it would be better for me since I live in Thailand. Otherwise you could ship it to my US address and it can be forwarded from there.

Can anyone tell me when the manufacture of the Maxxum 700si, 400si, 450si, 430si
RZ and 7000 AF ended? Are there records of serial numbers that would indicate
the approximate date of manufacture? I need the informtion to establish whether
I can import the cameras under a duty free exemption for my business overseas.
Thanks,
Neal
Betax #4 Shutter
in Large Format
Posted
Does anyone know where I can find a photo of the mechanism for a Betax #4
shutter? The one that came with a Turner-Reich convertible I bought will not
change speeds. When I opened it it is obvious there are 1 part worn down. It is
connected to the timer and will no longer contact the release. I need a general
idea what the original part looked like. There also appears to be a spring
and/or another part missing. in the same area as the timer. I can have parts
made for very little where I live if I can show them what the part looked like.
Any help is appreciate.
