What a great composition and location, a lot of potential here, but if I can be critical for a moment I don't think the direction of light was in your any favour, my bet is you're already planning a revisit.
Thanks for sharing.
best wishes

P.S What are those grid coordinates again ;)

Low cloud and mist often envelopes the Isle of Man. Legend has it the Celtic sea god
Manannan Mac Lir protected the land from invaders by shrouding it in a cloak of mist.

A farm lane winds its way through a patchwork of fields and paddocks, I wondered if
this view had changed much over the last few hundred years.
Thanks for looking.

Callanish, one of the most enigmatic bronze age structures to behold, in my opinion
anyway!
Thanks for looking

Shot from the end of the East row towards the central circle and burial chamber at
Callanish in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. One of the best preserved and fascinating
monuments from a period dating back some 5000 years.

Thanks Alf

Hi Larry, Shot at 50mm so it's a more or less how the eye would see it. Thanks for your comment.

The now ruined Caisteal Maol gaurds the narrow strip of water between the
Isle of Skye and the mainland, legend has it the 10th century MacKinnon chief
and his Norse bride ran a chain across the waterway charging a toll on all
passing shipping vessels. The Johan, an old herring ring netting boat built in
1949 can be found sheltering in the small bay. Thanks for looking.

Perfectly lit, and the clouds beautifully shroud the mountain tops to great effect - sublime indeed.

An interesting building, I like the treatment on the building but less so the sky, the trees are a little distracting however and don't add much of way of value to the composition especially the branches entering the frame on the left. Hope you had a great day at the Wedgewood museum, regards Stephen

Hi Michael and Sam,
Yes, a square format with more sky would give the elements more room to breathe, thanks for your comments :)
