I Just got a brand new camera case for a leica M4, it is the one fairly

angular and square. Can any one please tell me if the lens cover part

actually separate of the body part and if so how?. Thanks

Thanks, it is confusing, because I found an original instruction manual on Ebay, and the following code is printed on the last page "List 110-72/Engl.", which I suppose means 1972 English version, and the camera case shown as an accesory on page 27 is the roundy corner version under a code number: 567012.

The case really doesn't make much difference to the camera, but after spending so much on the camera, I'd like to have the correct case.

Does anyone have other thoughts on this?

it the one with round shape or the boxy looking one with sharp corners?
