    Interesting, the sky and light are both superb but I'm not sure that the image balances out somehow. Perhaps the tree and rock compete a bit too much. I'd have skipped the rock and gone for another lone tree shot - I never tire of them :-)

    I like both - the composition of the vertical works a bit better for me but I think the image suits the landscape shape better. For some reason I feel this one needs a bit more space below the foreground grass. The light here is absolutely fantastic.
