Thank you in advance for looking at my photo(s).

I'm a big fan of night shooting and just haven't had the opportunity to do any recently. Great work, how long did you have to keep the shutter open? The only negative is the border, maybe too bright, maybe a softer ivory, the stark white against the silhouette makes the detail hard to see.

Technical Details:

Shot with a Nikon d50 with a Nikkor 18-55 mm Lens

This was shot at night in my office, no lights. I left the shutter open to capture the light movement. The sphere is from my collection (it's a large green tigers eye). THe light source is an LED flashlight which is moved slowly across the scene.

Cropping:

I specifically didn't crop because I didn't want to edit the picture and didn't want to click the "Photoshop" on the listing. Now I know that cropping is allowed, I'll use it more effectively in the future.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated, these are my first posts,

and the first attempts in a long time, I set my Nikon to "Bulb" and

focus to manual and the exposure was auto. Let me know what you

think...
