probably you're right, the black stripes are not necessary :-( I wanted to present the photo on black background which is not posible on photo.net, so I added the stripes. It was a wrong decision as I see it now :-)

The reflection at the top of the frame was somethnig I really liked and something which in my opinion suggested her being in some kind of refrigerator or hibernation aparatus :-) that is also why I've chosen cool colors for this one.

... it's a matter of calibration of your display, there's a distinct line separating the model from the background
