    "Texas" or Gösta Näslund as his real name was, fought against generalFranco and the Nationalist during the Spanish Civil war in the end ofthe thirties.

    By the end of the war he got caught by the Nationalists and sent toprison, from where he managed to escape. He left Spain on a boat,crossing the Atlantic ocean to Texas, where he worked on a farm beforegoing back to Sweden. That's why he got his nickname "Texas".

    In the beginning of the forties he voluntarily went to war for thesecond time and fought on the Finnish side against the Soviet Union inthe Continuation War during the second World War.

    Yes, it is the same person as in the photograph "the kiss?.
