That is beautiful!!!

I like the way you composed this shot, it can be a tricky one, and do my eyes deceive me or is that sunshine in Monterey California? I was not fortunate enough to catch this spot on a sunny day the last time I was out there. Good job, I also like how you can see the kelp in the water, it adds an interesting detail.

I didn't think this one was going to turn out as well as it did, i

like the refection of the fish above it.

this is about as close up as i could get with my current camara but i

still think its cool.

I have seen a lot of flower close-ups on this site but i think yours is one of the most original. Most of them have the flower that is perfectly open and the whole thing is in the picture. I find your picture much more compelling. I like the way the petal in the middle bends up and obsures part of the middle of the flower. I think that not having the whole flower in the picture was a good call, it gives the shot a slightly more abstract/artistic feel. also the falling bits from the center of the flower which collected in the petal at the bottom right are an interesting detal. good job :)

I really like this photo. I like the way the plants in the water lead your eye further into the picture. The colors are very vivid and captivating, and the picture has a real senes of depth. --Jenn

if it were sunny i kinda like the gloomy mood of the overcast day,
