<p>Does anyone around the Raleigh area or anywhere between Raleigh & Chapel Hill have a reputable place that rents lenses? There is one I'd like to rent for this weekend before I buy it. I am real new to the area and I have no idea where to go for these things.<br>

<p>I have an F4 that has not been used in about 1.5 years. I just put fresh batteries in it and loaded a roll of film. There seems to be a slight shutter delay (manual settings were F8 @ 1/1000) with a 70-210 Nikkor AF lens. It appears the film is advancing but after each click of the shutter the LED light blinks rapidly. <br>

I am not quite sure what is wrong, but after each picture is taken I have to turn the camera off then on again in order for the shutter to work again.</p>

While in a bookstore I found a magazine coming from the UK called "Portraits". I

didn't buy it because it was bound in plastic and I didn't know what I would

think about the $15.00 magazine. I figured I would go online and check it out

and see if I couldn't get an older copy of it somewhere.

As it turns out, the magazine doesn't even look like it exists. I cannot find

anything online and I'm still curious to know what the magazine is like. I hoped

to find someone here that may know or may say it is worth the $15.

I took some photos this afternoon at around 4pm. The woman is wearing a black

ribbed tank top, it however appears more brown. She noticed this herself right

off. I didn't know what to do to fix it in camera so I figured I'd play with it

in PS. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find a decent balance between getting the

blacks blacks and the rest of the colors to remain warmer.

This was shot with an sb-800 on camera using Gary Fong's lightsphere II. 1/500 @

f/2.8. I shot in JPEG Fine on a D70 using a 50mm nikon 1.8 lens. (not that some

of that matters, but just in case it does).

Perhaps someone can tell me how or what I should have done or could do in order

to fix it so her shirt is more black than brown.

Hello,

I have an LLC filed through the state of California and recently a lawyer said something to me about

insurance. This got me thinking about other things and I was wondering if anyone around these parts did

business in CA under an LLC. I am very versed on what I need in terms of operations within city limits, but

this is more or less a need for me to run through my checklist and make sure I didn't miss something. A

shot in the dark, but I thought I'd try here.
