Glen, this a very interesting article. Indeed the Canon cleaning system seems to work not very well. Hmm...
However, perhaps there exists a different dusk consistence, and they tested the wrong one...

Thanks Puppy and Neil.
Puppy: I would be lucky if I can say the same about dusk problems. I can see the dusk about at F9. That mean you does not need the cleaning system in the 40d. Does the cleaning system disturb you? Perhaps the 40d takes a longer time to start up (or something)?

Hello, I often use my camera (20d) for outdoor exposures and I am often a
longer time on tour with different lenses. I have often problems with dusk on
the sensor, it happens, when I change the lenses. On the way, I have no chance
to clean the sensor. Therefore, I am very interested about experience from
outdoor photographer about the EOS integrated cleaning system (EOS-1Ds Mark
III, EOS 40D, and EOS 400D). How good the vibration cleaning work? Does it
substitute the normal sensor cleaning completely? Do any difficulties rise?
Thanks in advance!

Erik: If you want to reach the photos not in the front you can reach it by selecting a category and a short time period. I often also do that.
David: I know what you mean, but when I posted this I saw in the TRP photos (more than one) like this:
http://www.photo.net/photo/5933473.
10 times 7/7, perhaps you can give me one opinion for this rating?
That has nothing do with my own photos, I'm satisfied with the feedback and I don't expect higher ratings.
When I saw on mass such photos on TRP, PN loose on creditability. When I looked today, it is better, perhaps PN have had a bad day.

Thanks all for your opinions.
Erik: I don't believe in your model theory. If that were true, I also would see more portraits and fashion in TPR.
Will: Yes, I think too that the rating system is easy to manipulate, otherwise I can not explain these results.
Darius: Perhaps you waste your time in trying to improve something.

Thanks for your response. I also agree with Robert. I really have nothing against good nudes (for example like photos form Sascha Httenhain, Igor Amelkovich or John Peri). But if someone rate 7/7 because a hole in a log remembers him to a female genital, I only can give him good advice: stop rating, shut down your computer and search a real-life-woman.

When I looked today to the top rated photos my first thought I'm on the last
page. Not less then the half belongs not to the first page.
What happen to PN? I think the rating system is very bad - too many fakes. What
others think about this?
