  1. David.. I have that book and fell in love with his work.. I was hoping he used a hassy with 120mm... might be ilford film (love that contrast)?? his style is so stunning
  2. I know that Nigel Parry has a wonderful rapport with his subjects, and it

shows in his work ,,, but does anyone know anything "Technical" about the way

he shoots? what he uses? film type? anything at all??

Thank you for any help you can provide

  3. I can tell you one thing, you can shoot products with those lights, and you can get nice harsh shadows like they used to shoot old 40's movie star portraits..I would learn to use them for what they can be used for and go from there.. I have studio stobes and still mix in hot lights (sometimes with gels) to get some interesting lighting effects..
  4. I have both a Hassy and a Fuji680ii.. I LOVE my Fuji.. I usually take portraits with the hassy(althou the fuji is great for that too)as the hassy is easier to move around my subject with,, I have taken the Fuji out in the field,, but you need a STRONG tripod and head,, and have to lug that heavy sob around in the woods..but the images that the fuji can capture make it the best medium format system I have ever used...
